cutting it close to cami

every friday i have to get from work straight to cami in time for prayer, and the logistics of that never quite work themselves out on their own. this week i sat down with a few friends beforehand to figure out the fastest way across town — walking was too slow, the bus never lines up with the schedule i need, and a taxi felt like overkill for the distance.

we landed on a lime e-scooter. i booked the 30 minute pass, figured that would give me a bit of a buffer, and took off.

there wasn't much buffer at all. the ride took 29 minutes and 47 seconds — thirteen seconds to spare on a 30 minute pass. i made it in right as things were starting, out of breath but on time.

it was close, but I was happy and lucky I did it =)
